Functional Magnetic Stimulation is an innovative technology based on high intensity pulsed magnetic fields.
Rapid changes of magnetic field intensity induce an electrical current in the neuron, achieving action potentials and depolarization, that eventually lead to muscle contractions. FMS uses this electromagnetic induction principle, a well-established and scientifically proven method in Physiotherapy. The magnetic field will penetrate deep into the body stimulating the muscles, nerves, blood vessels and other tissues producing muscle contractions, stimulating the body’s regenerative processes, and providing other health benefits.
